St. Joseph Central High School is located in downtown Pittsfield Massachusetts. The school was founded in 1897. The present building was opened in 1942. The school is college preparatory in nature and exists to provide a quality Catholic education. In order to accomplish this goal, opportunities are provided for the spiritual, intellectual/aesthetic, physical and social development of the total person.
The school is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges
